Our Standards for the Practice of Law are based on Competence, Integrity, Civility and Equity.

Kim DiGiovanni Aluisi, Esq., has been a strong advocate for family law clients since 1986, managing conflict between spouses and other domestic partners, promoting solutions outside of the courtroom, and successfully litigating disputes by presenting the best available evidence when reasonable minds fail to prevail.

Issues involving divorce, custody, alimony, child support, equitable division of property, domestic violence, premarital agreements, and adoptions are resolved or litigated by Kim with the assistance of her team of competent and skilled legal support staff. Every client is assigned a paralegal, who provides support directly to the client without the stress of billable charges, a resource essential in maintaining affordable representation and effective communication with clients. Kim regularly represents clients in Anne Arundel, Prince George’s, Calvert, St. Mary’s, Charles, Howard, Queen Anne’s, Montgomery, and Talbot Counties.

Kim was employed from 1984 to 1999 by the State of Maryland Senate President Thomas V. “Mike” Miller, Jr., our nation’s longest serving State Senate President, where she served as an associate attorney; and has managed her own practice since that time.

Kim resided in Prince George’s County from 1960 to 2002 and has resided in Anne Arundel County since that time. She is married to the former (5) term Sheriff of Prince George’s County, Jimmy Aluisi. Her son graduated from St. Mary’s High School and University of Maryland College Park, where Kim completed her undergraduate studies in 1982. Kim attended the University of Baltimore School of Law, earning her Juris Doctorate in 1985.

Kim has partnered with local charitable organizations including The Olivia Constants Foundation, Annapolis Lighthouse Shelter, The YWCA Annapolis and Anne Arundel County, Providence Center, Stepping Out for Breast Cancer, Anne Arundel Medical Center Foundation, Anne Arundel County Police Foundation, Prince George’s County Crime Solvers, and other nonprofit organizations providing services to families and children.
